Inga Bergstrom is a University of Oxford professor who has had an affair with James Bond. She appeared in Tomorrow Never Dies and was portrayed by Danish actress Cecilie Thomsen.

Biography

James Bond visits Inga at the University of Oxford after his ordeal at the Russian arms bazaar on the Russian border. While having sex with the professor, Bond receives a phone call from Miss Moneypenny.

She informs him that he must report to the office, while Bond replies he is brushing up on his Danish.

Just before Moneypenny hangs up, she calls James a “cunning linguist.” Turning around, she sees M and says, “don’t ask.” M replies, “don’t tell.” As James departs, he remarks that he always enjoyed learning a new tongue.
