On March 2, 1949, Gates McFadden was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the USA, as Cheryl Gates McFadden. She is known for her work on Star Trek: The Next Generation, where she portrayed Dr. Beverly Crusher. She has also appeared in First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). She is married to John Talbot. They have one child.
